With waterproof, oil-proof perfluorinated/polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), plasticizers contain bisphenol A (BPA), because it is difficult to degrade, can accumulate in the environment and human body for a long time, disrupt endocrine, increase the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease.

  • California Regulation 65 (BPA), the California government updates the list of hazardous chemicals every year.
Reduce exposure to environmental hormones

For take-away food, heat and acid resistant containers can be selected, such as PP, glass, stainless steel. 

If you need to use plastic containers, choose products that do not contain BPA.
