Only 9% of plastic is recycled globally

The recycling process is complex and not all plastic can be recycled. In order to make the plastic properties meet certain standards, different additives are used in the production process. Beyond that, the type of plastic that recycling facilities can accept varies from location to location.

From 1950, world production was only 2 million tons, to 460 million tons in 2019. Plastic production increased by 230 times, plastic adds a lot of value to our lives, plastic is not the king of all evil, as long as we manage plastic waste effectively together, we can change our ecosystem.
