Carbon fee 

The Ministry of Environment of Taiwan has implemented carbon fee payment since 2025, and carbon polluters adopting SBTi EU carbon reduction standards can enjoy more preferential discount rates. For those who cannot adopt SBTi standards, the Ministry of Environment will consider different industrial types to set specified targets and give concessions after achieving them, and the concessions will not be more than those who adopt SBTi.
